Handmade in Scotland.
Harmless Fashion
Every aspect, meticulously reenvisioned.
Uniquely Harmless
Style with Purpose
Tackling textile waste
Each piece we produce consists of dead stock, or/and off-cut fabrics, mitigating disposal to landfill.
Plastic-Free Fashion
Our creations are free of: Polyester, Polyamide, Polylactic Acid, Polyurethane, Acrylic, PVC, or Nylon. Polyester threads and polyester labels are not used in any of our creations.
Harmless buttons
While 25 billion plastic buttons are produced each year, unconventionally, we adopt individually handcrafted Scottish Highland deer antler buttons. Antlers regrow annually, shed naturally, and are ethically harvested.
Project Harmless Presents:
Embracing Scottish Textile Heritage
At Project Harmless, our primary goal is to achieve a seamless fusion of form and function. With unwavering commitment, we carefully examine every intricate detail, acknowledging the importance of nuances often overlooked. It is this keen focus on the finer points that distinguish our creations, ensuring each element harmonises beautifully to enhance both the aesthetic allure and practical functionality.
We draw on the experience and knowledge of a small group of craftsman and craftswoman, artists across the country, and our connections in the textile sector, to handmade each and every item in Scotland.
Our team draw on their experience from earlier projects to carefully examine each and every item made.
All limited edition items come with a hand signed Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its quality and uniqueness.
We prioritise the longevity of your item and offer a repair service to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Upon receiving your item, our team will thoroughly inspect and repair any necessary parts. Although there is a fee for this service, we will endeavor to keep it as low as possible. If the item cannot be repaired, we will explore options to up-cycle or donate it to a social enterprise or charity. For further details, please reach out to the Project Harmless team.
